Now is the time to obtain one.

Homeland Security is preparing to release new rules for all US citizens and other travelers coming to and leaving the United States. Pay close attention to the proposed requirements for travel so that your vacation will be enjoyable:

December 31, 2006 - Passports required for all air & sea travel to and from the Caribbean, Bermuda, Central America, South America, Canada, and Mexico.

December 31, 2007 - Passports required for all land border crossings to and from Canada and Mexico.
